Oxford English Dictionary
The series of works in this exhibition will bring together drawings and sculptures that precariously engage the viewers to reflect on our twisted relationship with our environment, our penchant for representational thinking and its affective consequences of vast scale and magnitude.
These works will address viewer participation, involving literary sensibilities, reflection, slow viewing and engaged perception through crafting of an image.
Where everyday life becomes an imposition of repetitions, or desperate and violent reassertions in a world afflicted by identity politics, the works in the exhibition will provide certain focal shifts towards matter, materiality and processes replete with vulnerable formations.
In some ways, the works will address our unwillingness to participate at an intimate level due to the cultural shifts that contemporary times have produced.
