#Recursor (3) Intermedia works by Baiju Parthan In computer programming 'recursor' refers to program modules that act repeatedly upon their own output, where output is consumed as input in an ongoing loop. recursor(3) is an attempt to visualize how the continuing loop of production and consumption of technology has altered our perception, to give us a reality experience that straddles the 'Real real' of physical space and the 'Virtual real' of cyber space. The show explores the intersection of real and virtual through re-imagined virtual cityscapes and digitally reconstituted organisms.
