KODANDA RAO TEPPALA

Kodanda Rao Teppala is a painter and printmaker based in Baroda, Gujarat. Born in 1979 in Srikakulam, he completed his Master’s in Fine Art (Printmaking) from M S University, Baroda in 2003 and Bachelor’s in Fine Art (Printmaking) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 2001. His solo shows include Carriers, Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore (2025); In Present Tense, Nature Morte, New Delhi (2023); Sailing A Restless Sea, (online) Terrain Art, New Delhi (2022); New Paintings, Petite Mort, New Delhi (2014). He has been awarded the 77th AIFACS Annual Award (2005); Honourable Mention Award at the 6th Bharat Bhavan International Biennale of Print Art, Bhopal (2004) and received the Arnawaz Vasudev Charities Scholarship (2003) amongst others. He has also participated and exhibited in Seattle Art Fair, Gallery Sumukha, Seattle, USA (2025); Space Studio Alumni show, Museum Square, Baroda (2024); ‘Luminous Reveries’, Gallery Dotwalk, New Delhi (2023); India Art Fair, Terrain Art, New Delhi (2023); ‘Hues of Earth and Sea’, Modern Art Gallery, New Delhi (2022); Kala Ghoda Art Festival, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2020) ‘Road to Prospect’, Vis-à-vis, Stainless Steel Gallery, New Delhi (2019) and many more.
