Born in 1979
Champa Sharath, born in 1979, completed her art education in Printmaking from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda, 2003 & Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts, Mysore, 2000.
Champa’s solo shows are Divine Phantoms, Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, 2018; Exhibition of Woodcut prints at Shristi Art Gallery, Hyderabad, 2006; Exhibition of Graphic Prints at Welcome Art Gallery, Windsor Sheraton & Towers, ITC Bangalore presented by Gallery Sumukha, 2005.
Her wood-cuts and graphic prints has been featured in some selected group exhibitions which includes, The Drawing Show - Part II, Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, 2021; The Delhi Contemporary Art Week- Edition 3, Gallery Blueprint 12, New Delhi, 2019; The Human Animal, Religare, New Delhi, 2009; India on Canvas by Khushi Foundation, New Delhi, 2009; 6th Bharat Bhavan Print Biennale, Bhopal, 2004; Footprints – Women in Printmaking, curated by Kavita Shah, a traveling show exhibited at Vadodara, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kansas, USA, 2006; Mark, Etch & Print, a show of prints held at Delhi, 2006; Rekhanama, a group show of drawings in memory of Late Sri K K Hebbar, 2005; 67th & 68th National Exhibition of Art, Amritsar, 2001; Srujana, a group show at CAVA Art Gallery, Mysore, 2000; Groups exhibitions at The Kolkota Regional Centre of Lalitkala Akademi, Kolkota, 2000; Karnataka Lalitkala Akademi, Bangalore, 2000, Karnataka Shilpa kala Akademi, Bangalore, 1999; Mysore Dasara Fine Arts Exhibitions, Mysore, 1997, 1998 & 1999.

She lives and works in Bangalore.
