Bhaskar Vadla, born in 1982, has completed his post-graduation in Printmaking at Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Baroda, 2009 & under-graduation in Painting at College of Fine Arts, JNTU, Hyderabad, 2006.

Bhaskar has been recipient of selected accolades such as Young Fellowship for Artists, Ministry of Culture, 2011-2013; Young artist award from Mahua Art Gallery, Bangalore, 2009; Arnawaz Art scholarship, Bangalore, 2007-2008; Hyderabad Art Society award, 2006; Asian Pacific awards, 2000. He has been part of few art residencies such as *International Artists Residency* at Niv Art Centre, New Delhi, 2013; Artist in residence at Uttarayan Art Foundation, Baroda, 2010 to 2013.
He lives and works in Baroda.
