Dhruva Mistry, born in 1957, Gujrat. He studied sculpture from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.University of Baroda, 1974-81 and post-graduation in Sculpture from Royal College of Art, London, 1981-83 on The British Council scholarship. He was artist-in residence, Arts Council of Britain and Fellowship from University of Cambridge, 1984-85.

He has been honoured by several awards and fellowships, prominent one includes Honorary CBE by the Queen Elizabeth, London, awarded Honorary Doctor of the Birmingham City University; Elected Fellow of Royal Society of British Sculptors; Design & President’s award for Victoria Square and many more.
