Thomas Kovoor

Born in 1967, he is Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Sculpture at Faculty of Fine Arts, Rajasthan University, Jaipur, since 1995. Kovoor runs the Studio Sukriti where Indian contemporary artists interested in casting their sculptures in bronze go to work. This centre of sculptural pilgrimage is well known and draws sculptors from all parts of the country to work together. Kovoor is an accomplished sculptor himself and has participated in numerous shows.
