S. Gopinath

Born in 1972, Gopinath obtained his BFA from the CKP, Bangalore and his Post Diploma from MS University, Baroda. This young sculptor has shown his works in various group shows between 1996 and 2004, such as the Harmony Show, Mumbai 2004, 2003, 2002; ABS Limited, Baroda, 2004; Gallery Sumukha 2002, among many others,. He received the Icon of 20th century award from the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, 2004 and the AIFACS (State award), Bangalore, Karnataka. Gopinath works with various mediums in creating sculptures and he lives in Bangalore.
