Rajeswara Rao

Rajeswara Rao was born in Vizainagaram, India. He completed his B.F.A from Andhra University, Waltair in 1983 and his M.F.A Centeral University, Hyderabad in 1990. He has had many solo exhibitions, some of which are Sakshi Gallery, Bangalore, 1996; Alliance Francaise, Hyderabad, 1996; Gallery Golden Threshold, Hyderabad, 1997; Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai, 1998,1999, 2005. He has alsoparticipated in many groups shows such as Embarkations-Millennium show, Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai, and Human form and Art organized by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, 2000; The Human Factor, Guild Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2001; Surya Art Gallery and Peagasus Art Gallery, Hyderabad,2002; The Deccan Connection, Appa Rao Gallaries,New Delhi, 2002; Hyderabad, 2003 and XI Triennale, India New Delhi, 2004. His works are in the collections of Chester and Davida Herkowitz, USA; Bharat Bhavan, Bhopla; UNICEF, Hyderabad; the Wilbeding Collection; CCMB, Hyderabad and LV Prasad Eye Hospistal, Hyderabad and in many other prestigious private collections. He lives and works in Hyderabad, India.
