Nandesh S

Obtained his B.F.A. Applied Art from College of Fine Arts, Bangalore (1997-1998), and a Diploma in Animation, Heart Animation Academy, Hyderabad(1999-2000),M.V.A. in Printmaking, Bangalore University (2005), and was Co-ordinator, Bangalore Artists Center / Artists in Residency Programme, 2006. Nandesha has participated in a number of group shows in India and abroad. He is also related with theatre participation and has done collaborative work with Bangalore artists related to environmental art projects, in addition to a Workshop for NIFT, Bangalore in 2002. He was awarded a scholarship from the Heart Animation Academy, Hyderabad, in 1999. Nandesha is credited with participation in Voluntary & Social Services, and has Introduced Art education in a rural area of Bangalore. He has also introduced Art Education in Government Schools in collaboration with the National School of Drama, and was a Voluntary member for the International Khoj Artists’ workshop held in Bangalore in 2003. He lives and works in Bangalore.
