M. Pavan Kumar

Born in 1981 and received his BFA(painting) from the Dept. of Fine Arts,Andhra University in Visakapatnam and his MFA(painting) from Department if Visual Arts, Bangalore University Bangalore.This young artist has participated in various group shows throughtout the country. Some of which are "Intentions" Group of 15 Contemporary Artists,ny Gallery Kaleidoscope,Baroda;Group show ofcontemporary artists by Art House Bangalore,2006;National Exhibition of Art,Lalit Kala Academy,New Delhi & Cochin,2004; Telugu University,State Art Exhibition,Hyderabad,2003,among others.He has participated in a One Month Artist-in Residence Programme at Bangalore Artists'Centre,Bangalore,2006 and the Inter University South Zone Youth Festival in Bangalore,2005. Pavan received the Arnavaz Vasudev Scholarship in 2006. He lives and works in Bangalore.
