Jehangir Jani

Jehangir Jani has shown in numerous solo exhibitions between 1990 and 2004, the more recent of which are Portraits, Guild Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2004; Lazarus and Anarkali, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, CKP, Bangalore, 2002-2003; Stories, Gallery Chemould, Mumbai, 2000. Group exhibitions include Kala Ghoda Festival, Gallery Chemould, Mumbai, 2005; Still Waters Run Deep,Hacienda Gallery, Mumbai, curated by Jasmine Shah Verma; Iconography in Transient Times, curated by Marta Jakimowicz for Gallery Sumukha, at India Habitat Center, New Delhi, 2004;Ways of Resisting, Rabindra Bhavan, New Delhi, curated by Viban Sundaram, 2003; Bodied Self, curated by Ranjit Hoskote,Sans Tache Gallery, Mumbai, 2001, among many others. Jehangir Jani lives and works in Mumbai, India.
