Chandra Bhattacharjee

Born in West Bengal, in 1961, Bhattacharjee graduated from the Indian College of Art & Draughtsmanship. He has shown in several solo shows around the country since 1994. Some of the group shows he has participated in are Art Heritage, New Delhi (1992); at Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad, organised by NGMA (1999); Art World, Hong Kong (2001).Bhattacharjee was awarded the gold medal from Rabindra Bharati University in 1986. He lives and works in Kolkata.
