Aparajithan

Born in 1972,in Chennai, India, Aparajithan has a BFA in painting from Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai, (1991-1996) and a MFA from M.S. University, Baroda (1999-2001). He has participated in several group shows throughout the country. He has participated in art camps, some of which are 2006, International Painters’ Camp from SAARC nations, Hyderabad; 2002, All India Painters’ Camp, CCMB, Hyderabad. His teaching experience includes Guest Faculty, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai,2005-06; Guest Faculty, Dept of Visual Communication, Madras Christian College, Chennai,2004-05; lecturer, Dept of Communication, Dr. GR Damodar College of Science, Coimbatore,203-04; Lecturer of Art History, Govt College of Fine Arts Chennai. He was awarded the Junior Fellowship from the Culture Dept, New Delhi, 2002 and the Tamil Nadu State Lalit Kala akademi award for Painting, 1998. Aparajithan lives and works in Chennai, India.
