BIOGRAPHY

Vivek was born in 1964 in Trishur, Kerala. Vilasini trained as a Marine Radio Officer, All India Marine College, Kochi. He has a BA in Political Science from Kerala University, 1984 and studied Sculptural practices from Traditional Craftsmen, 1987. Group shows include, among others, Arts for Peace, curated by Claudia Flynn and Troy West, New York 2007. A Compensation for What Has been Lost, curated by Johnny ML 2006. Waging Peace, Curated by Claudia Flynn and Troy West, Hera Art Gallery, Rhode Island 2006. Satyagraha: Indian and South African Artists, Curated by Jayaram Poduval, New Delhi & Dublin 2006.
