A Naveen Kumar, born 1985 has a post-graduation in Printmaking from Bangalore University and under-gradutation in Art from Ken School of Art.
He had his solo exhibitions *Magical Stories* at MOD, Bangalore in 2014 and *Magical Stories from 81 Sq Ft* at Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore in 2017.
He has been part of groups shows such as *Micro / Macrocosm* – 68th IPEP print travelling international show in countries such as Australia, Turkey, USA; *Cycle 18 – Art & Science* as part of Piramal Art Residency in 2018, *Nurturer & The Nurtured*, an exhibition of Emerging Artist Award 2014-16, Bangalore; *Elemental* curated by Suresh Jayaram, Bangalore; *5 Young artists from Bengaluru* at Garage, Kirchplatz, Switzerland in 2015, *Papyrus*, curated by Ushmita Sahu, Gallerie M, Kolkota, 2014; *The Emerging canvas* – An Indo Korean young artists Exhibition, Chennai; *Crosstalk*, group show at Gallery Sumukha, Bangalore, 2014; Icon Art, Hyderabad in 2012; *Bharat Bhavan Biennale*, Bhopal, 2012 and many more.
Naveen has been part of artist residencies at Piramal Art Residency, part of Cycle 18: Art & Science, Thane in 2018 and at Indian Ateliers, an international residency program, Goa in 2013. He has been part of many art camps at Art Conclave, Lalitkala Kala Akademi, Lucknow; Arnawaz Vasudev Charities at Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai.
He is a recipient of Camel Art Foundation Europe tour in 2016 and awarded the Emerging Artist award by Shenoy Art Foundation in 2015 and been recipient of scholarships from Arnawaz Vasudev Charities, Chennai between 2009-2010.
He lives and works in Bangalore.
